"After being in this industry for 25 years, it's nice to know that i'm still capable of an occasional epiphany. at last years NRA show in Chicago I had just that. for me, it's not about the 95% of the things i see @ the show that i don't have a need for or an interest in, but the 5% that i'm not aware of or haven't thought of that rocks my world.

The instaprep booth was just that. in my opinion, one of the smartest and most useful commercial kitchen products that's come along throughout my entire career. a great idea that immediately put a smile on my face and forced my hand into my pocket to purchase 3 prototypes that weren't even in full production at that point.

What chef has not been space challenged? what chef has not had to improvise workspace that is less than desirable? what chef hasn't outgrown a kitchen that was not designed for their current demands?

The instaprep work stations that i purchased that day have been in near constant usage in my kitchens since the day they arrived. everyone that sees them and/or uses them thinks the same thing. why didn't i think of that? why didn't the light bulb go on in my head with such a simple solution to such a prevalent problem. I can't say enough about how happy i am to support such an excellent idea, and truthfully don'tknow anyone that couldn't use one at some point in time."
